Benson Nabs LBQ #1 Pitcher Award Wednesday, September 1st , 1897 Bryan Benson of Levis had an excellent August with a 5-1 record and was selected the Pitcher of the Month in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec. He finished the month with a 2.03 ERA while piling up 11 strikeouts in 62 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .254 batting average. To date Benson is 23-14 in 39 starts with a 2.78 ERA and has 63 strikeouts in 339.2 innings. |
