Barreto Twirls a Gem for Artemisa

The Artemisa Rojos got a magnificent performance from pitcher José Barreto, who stifled the Marianao offense en route to a 3-1 Rojos win at Recinto de Artemisa. The win gives Artemisa a record of 10-7.
Barreto went the distance for Artemisa. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1.
"Every loss hurts," said Marianao manager Juan Treviño. "But this was a tough one."
