Wade Holds Prescott Scoreless Monday, August 9th , 1897 Ryan Wade of the Tucson Highwaymen was in command from start to finish in his 7-0 shutout win over the Prescott Lynx. He struck out 4, walked 0 and allowed 4 hits. "I felt strong the entire game," Wade said. "I felt like I had my good stuff. It was just one of those games when everything was working."
