Sweet Swing, Sweet Month for Rookie Guzmán Wednesday, September 1st , 1897 August was a month Sudbury right fielder Judá Guzmán is not likely to forget very soon. Not only did he hit .349, he was also named the winner of the Ontario Baseball Association Rookie of the Month award. He nailed down the honor with a .349 average, 29 hits, no home runs, 12 RBIs and 17 runs scored during the month. Guzmán is batting .322 with 1 home runs and 67 RBIs this season. |
