Gatineau's Bloom Hurls His Way to Award Monday, August 2nd , 1897 The Ligue de Baseball du Québec has presented this week's Player of the Week Award to Gatineau starting pitcher Brad Bloom. He topped the league with 3 wins over the last week and nabbed the best player award. For the week the Draveurs hurler was 3-0 with a 1.33 ERA. He allowed 20 hits and fanned 10 in 27 innings.
