Loder Twirls 5-0 Shutout for Hammers Wednesday, July 28th , 1897 Mike Loder was dynamite at Hamilton Fields today, blowing away the Nipissing Air Marshals in a shutout victory. The Hamilton Hammers starter had everything working as he held the Air Marshals to 6 hits in the 5-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Nipissing skipper Radamés Burgos. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Loder finished the game with 1 strikeout and no walks.
