Peck Tames Air Marshals, 1-0 Sunday, July 18th , 1897 The bats were ice cold today for the Nipissing Air Marshals at Air Marshals Stadium. Markham Wheelwrights starter Dennis Peck kept the Air Marshals cold all day, shutting them out in a 1-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 34-year-old hurler allowed 6 hits while striking out 6 and walking 0. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Peck admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." Season-to-date Peck has rung up 11 wins and 17 losses in 31 appearances.
