Perth Fires Manager, Higgins Will Be Replaced Saturday, October 16th , 1897 The Perth Caber Tossers announced today that they have fired manager Haffy Higgins. "We've decided to move in another direction," general manager MartÃnez explained to the assembled press. "We appreciate all the work that Haffy has done for the organization and we wish him well in the future.
