Dunne Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Monday, September 13th , 1897 The hot bat of Fog first baseman Patty Dunne continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 3-for-5 in today's 12-5 loss to the Talons at Talons Park. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Patty Dunne singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Dunne has compiled a .261 batting average, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 50 runs. He has played in 107 games and scored 44 runs. |
