Kai Cockle Gets 100th Victory Saturday, August 28th , 1897 Kai Cockle entered the record books today as he collected win number 100 at Caber Tossers Park. "Wow! This is a select group of pitchers. I am honored and thrilled to be in it," Cockle said after the game. "I never dreamed of winning this many games." In his historic outing he went 9 innings and gave up 2 runs on 10 hits. Cockle also had 4 strikeouts and no walks as his Perth Caber Tossers topped the Inverness Thistles 7-2. In his career Cockle has 100 victories and 76 defeats with a 2.96 ERA.
