Prescott Shuts Out Hollyhocks, Caracciolo Winner Tuesday, July 31st , 1888 Michael Caracciolo of the Prescott Lynx shut out the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 3-0, on 4 hits. He rang up 5 strikeouts and walked 2. "He's got great stuff and good movement," Santa Fe manager Oscar Castronova said after the game. "He threw a lot of breaking balls. He made adjustments.
