USBL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 2nd , 1888 Albuquerque starting pitcher, Elijah Brownlee put it in overdrive last week and cruised to 3 wins in the United States Border League and was voted its top performer. For his outstanding mound work he was given the USBL Player of the Week trophy. For the week the Dukes hurler compiled a fine 3-0 won-lost record, surrendered 13 hits and fanned 8 in 27 innings and put up an impressive 0.67 ERA. This year Brownlee has compiled a 16-8 mark with a 2.60 ERA. |
