Rodríguez Takes Top TOCC Manager Honors Friday, October 22nd , 1897 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Tadeo Rodríguez, he seems to have taken the Artemisa Rojos to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Torneo del Occidente for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Rodríguez led Artemisa to a first place finish in the Torneo del Occidente División de Pinar del Río. The Rojos ended up with a 58-38 record. |
