Maceteros Flame Out Against Vásquez, Palomas Thursday, September 3rd , 1885 Cidra Palomas pitcher Luis Vásquez blanked the Vega Alta Maceteros 3-0 at Jardines de Cidra today, tossing a 5-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 8 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Vásquez said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
