Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Juncos Saturday, August 29th , 1885 The Juncos Valencianos can give up their playoff chase and focus on simply winning some games, because today it became official that they have been mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. The Valencianos have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 15 years as a Liga Nacional Puertorriquena franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 10th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1875. |
