Rookie Pitches His Way to LBQ Trophy Sunday, July 1st , 1888 Adonis Douglas dominated Ligue de Baseball du Quebec hitters during June and was named the outstanding Rookie of the Month earlier today. This first-year hurler for the Trifluviens compiled a solid 5-2 record and a fine 1.33 ERA in 61 innings. He struck out 36 and held opponents to a .165 batting average. In 25 starts this season, Douglas has recorded 14 wins and absorbed 11 losses. He has pitched 205 innings, allowed 162 hits, struck out 131 and has a 2.33 ERA. |
