Florists, Wheelwrights Confirm Swap Thursday, June 7th , 1888 A trade was announced today at a press conference in Brampton. Not satisfied with their current roster, the Brampton Florists general manager shook things up by acquiring 18-year old 2B Murray McDonald from the Markham Wheelwrights for 25-year old 2B Hubert Colwill. "We're a better team now," Florists general manager Wenceslao Allen said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle." So far on the season Colwill is hitting .239 with no home runs, 15 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 45 hits and played in 50 games. |
