Metropolitanos, Petateros Make Deal Tuesday, December 14th , 1897 San Juan and Sabana Grande have agreed in principle to a trade. The Metropolitanos will send 19-year old SS Eudoxio Marcial to the Petateros for 35-year old 3B Juan Carlos Leal and 19-year old RF Marco Lara. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. Lifetime Leal is hitting .251 with 389 hits, 36 doubles, 15 triples and 13 home runs. He has scored 219 runs and driven in 164. |
