The Villalba starter crafted a 28-15 won-lost mark in his first year, relying on his own talent, a good pitching coach and a solid 2.76 ERA to bring home the trophy. In 46 starts and 408.1 innings, Campos yielded 390 hits and struck out 100, while holding opposing teams to a .248 average. Emanuel Acosta of the Villalba Avancinos finished second in voting, while Augusto Estrella of the Humacao Grises finished third. |
