Florida Fires Manager, Erazo Will Be Replaced Friday, December 3rd , 1897 You can't fire the players when times get tough. Britomaro Erazo learned that the hard way today as he was dismissed from his managerial position with the Florida Mogotes. Citing a need to "shake things up," a team official said it was time to move on. "We respect what Britomaro has done for the club and we thank him for his time here, but we just think the future of the Mogotes needs to be handled by someone else and needs to move in a different direction," said club general manager Joe Unknown in a prepared statement. For his part, Erazo remained upbeat about the decision. "I know it's a business and sometimes you've just got to make a change," he said. "I want to thank Florida for the opportunity to manage here." Team officials are expected to announce an interim manager in the next few days. |
