Coamo Gets Rid of Manager Briseño Friday, December 3rd , 1897 Looking like he hadn't slept in 24 hours, fired Coamo Maratonistas manager Alonso Briseño met the media before heading back to his hometown. Briseño was fired by Maratonistas general manager Cabrera today. "It stinks. It's miserable. I hate it," Briseño said. "But that's baseball. I'm sure there's a silver lining here somewhere.
