Ganaderos Win Serie Eliminatoria Saturday, October 30th , 1897 By a score of 3-0, the Hatillo Ganaderos have sealed a victory in the Serie Eliminatoria over the Lajas Marcianos. "We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said starting pitcher Diego Torres of the Ganaderos, who was named the series MVP. "The Marcianos knew how to battle and gave us a good test." The next test for Hatillo will come in the Serie Interdivisional, after winning this series 3-1. The Hatillo Ganaderos will play against the Salinas Pescadores in the next round. Salinas won their series against the Luquillo Soles 3 games to 0.
