Guardianes Advance to Serie Eliminatoria Friday, October 22nd , 1897 The Dorado Guardianes have advanced to the Serie Eliminatoria, with a 14-13 triumph at Parque de los Guardianes over the San Juan Metropolitanos. The win sealed a 3-1 series win for Dorado. The series MVP honor went to Guardianes first baseman Germán Bedolla. "It takes every guy in that dugout to win games, not just me," Bedolla said afterward. "I'm proud to be moving on." The Dorado Guardianes will play against the Arroyo Bucaneros in the next round.
