Tito Padilla Plans to Retire Monday, September 18th , 1882 Tito Padilla said he's proud of what he's accomplished in professional baseball and he's now comfortable walking away from the sport. The Aguada Arzobispos starting pitcher announced today that this season will be his last. "It's Freedom 42," he joked with reporters. "I'm happy to get out now and am looking forward to enjoying retirement." Over his career the 42-year-old Padilla has won 172 and lost 245, collecting 670 strikeouts and 303 walks in 3576 innings with a 3.15 ERA. Opponents have hit .284 against him. |
