Reveles Shuts Out Lobos, 5-0 Thursday, October 14th , 1897 Before the game, Curcio Reveles said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Parque de los Lobos, the Caciques pitcher whitewashed the Arecibo Lobos 5-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Reveles said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my cutter even when I was behind in the count." The Orocovis starter held Arecibo scoreless, giving up 5 hits while registering 5 strikeouts and issuing 2 walks. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," Lobos manager Marco Estrada said in a postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose."
