More Injury Problems for Jayuya's Ángel Quintero Thursday, October 14th , 1897 Jayuya Cerros center fielder Ángel Quintero is not healing as well as expected as he recovers from knee tendinitis and will miss an additional 2 weeks as a result. Quintero had been working with the team medical staff, but was taken to a specialist as a precaution. Examination revealed more damage than originally thought. This year Quintero has collected a .329 batting average to date with 184 hits in 559 at-bats, 74 RBIs, no home runs and scored 92 times. He has played in 130 games. |
