Big Day for González: Swats 5 Hits Sunday, October 10th , 1897 Jacinto González did a number on the Caneros in the Penuelas 10-4 victory today, and the number was 5. The Petroleros shortstop banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Estadio de Peñuelas to lead his club past the Vega Baja Caneros. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later.
