Gigantes Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, October 8th , 1897 While they stayed relevant late into the season, there will be no postseason berth for the Carolina Gigantes. The club today was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. In their 27 seasons in Liga Nacional Puertorriquena, the Gigantes have still yet to qualify for the playoffs. |
