Soria Strokes 5 Hits Tuesday, October 5th , 1897 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Cirilo Soria is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Arecibo Lobos at Parque de los Lobos today. The monster effort from the 37-year-old first baseman helped the Santa Isabel Potros take the win, 10-2. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Lobos manager Marco Estrada. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Cirilo Soria hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
