Valdez Tosses 7-0 Shutout Against Penuelas Monday, September 20th , 1897 The Camuy Murcielagos rolled to an easy 7-0 win over the Penuelas Petroleros at Parque de los Murciélagos today. Leading the way to victory was starter Pablo Valdez, who shackled the Penuelas Petroleros and held them scoreless on a 3-hitter. "This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Valdez said in his postgame press conference.
