Murcielagos Blank Cafeteros, Trujillo Wins Saturday, September 18th , 1897 Víctor Hugo Trujillo dominated the Maricao Cafeteros with a brilliant 5-hit shutout in a Camuy Murcielagos 1-0 triumph at Parque de los Murciélagos. The Camuy hurler fanned 0 and walked 2 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager. "He really kept us in check today," Cafeteros skipper Ernesto Camarillo said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings." Trujillo has made 39 starts, tossed 335.2 innings, struck out 68 batters and walked 149.
