Naguabo Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Saturday, September 18th , 1897 It has been a woeful season for the Naguabo Navegadores and now they have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. "You always need some things to break your way to get into the playoffs," said manager Jesús Guerrero. "And nothing broke our way this year." Naguabo last appeared in the postseason in 1883. This is their 14th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 22 times in their 27 - year history. |
