Dukes Deal Hollyhocks 9-3 Defeat
The Albuquerque Dukes topped the Santa Fe Hollyhocks, 9-3, in Border League action at Dukes Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Albuquerque pitcher William Palmer. Albuquerque is first in the Border League New Mexico Circuit with a record of 67-41.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Dukes Field seemed to enjoy watching the Border League action.

Palmer told a Albuquerque Bulletin reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
