A good performance from shortstop Cristóbal Posas helped the Barceloneta Marineros defeat the Manati Atenienses, 8-5. Posas went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Marineros. The loss lowers the Manati record to 12-14.

With Barceloneta leading 6-5 in the top of the ninth, Posas hit a curveball from Tibulo Barahona for a 2-run double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Marineros ahead, 8-5.
