Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Lynx
Tucson got a terrific game from pinch hitter Robert Duffy. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Prescott, 10-8. Duffy was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Prescott reliever Dan Olwell got the win, raising his record to 5-2. Daniel Morrison was tagged with the loss. The third-place Lynx raised their record to 35-58.

Prescott used the timely hitting of Ryan Davis to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Lynx on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Davis. "I like it."
