Capitanes Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Fundadores, 6-3
The Mayaguez Capitanes defeated the Anasco Fundadores, 6-3, in Liga Hostos action at Parque de los Capitanes. Mayaguez pitcher Carmelo Urbina had a standout performance. At 19-7, the Capitanes have played well so far.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Fabricio Muriel was at the plate when Mayaguez scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Capitanes to go in front, 2-1.

Muriel told the Mayaguez Today: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
