Jesús Ramírez was outstanding against Ciudad Acuna. The left-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the LRB-LF with a 0.83 WHIP, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Colibris 2-1 win. Nuevo Laredo, at 46-26, is 3 games up in the Liga Fronteriza División Coahuila.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Ramírez hit a cutter from Callum McDonald for a run-scoring single. The Colibris, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
