Guerrero got a strong outing from Abilio Flores as the Jinetes defeated the Piedras Negras Carboneros, 4-2, at Jinetes Park. Guerrero now sits in second place in the Liga Fronteriza División Coahuila at 30-23.

The Jinetes got a big at-bat from catcher Marcial Brito. For the game, Brito went 2 for 2 with a triple, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 6th double of the season gave Guerrero a 3-0 lead.

After the game, Guerrero manager Próspero Torres applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
