Tempe picked up a win at Tempe Stadium, bumping off the Prescott Lynx, 3-1. Pitcher Joe Rexford was a major reason the Olympians emerged victorious. Tempe is now 31-21, while Prescott is 20-32.

Rexford, who dominated for Tempe, earned the victory to move to 9-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 6 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 7. Prescott batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
