Prescott Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
Prescott got a strong outing from Curt Reasoner as the Lynx defeated the Tucson Highwaymen, 2-1, at Lynx Park. Reasoner got the win, improving to 6-6. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 9 innings. Reasoner allowed 1 run. The Lynx now own a record of 16-31.
The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Prescott trailing 1-0, Jeremy Cloer hit a slider from Nazir Cornell to right for a 2-run double. Just like that, the Lynx had a walk-off win.
"Not everyone likes pitching duels," said Reasoner. "But I do."
