The Santa Fe Hollyhocks weathered an outstanding game by Albuquerque first baseman Cody Roberson to topple the Dukes, 7-5. Roberson was 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Hollyhocks now own a record of 15-30.

Nick Waugh, who is tied for 9th in the LRB-BL in RBI with 19, aided the Santa Fe cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman went 1-3 with a double and a walk.

In comments to the Santa Fe Citizen, Waugh admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."
