Carboneros fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

Starting pitcher Sílvano Flores did his part in helping the Piedras Negras Carboneros thwart the Guerrero Jinetes, 2-1. Flores got the win, improving to 8-7. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. Flores allowed 1 run.

Luis Mariscal was the walk-off hero for Piedras Negras. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Carboneros third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Guerrero skipper Próspero Torres.

Piedras Negras, at 25-18, sits in first place in the Liga Fronteriza División Coahuila.
