Olympians Earn 6-5 Win Versus Highwaymen
In a tight contest at Tempe Stadium, the Tempe Olympians edged the Tucson Highwaymen by the score of 6-5. Tempe second baseman Noel Spellman, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The winner in relief was Mike Songer. He is now 2-2. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3 innings. The winning continues for Tempe, with the latest making it 10 straight.

The Olympians procured the win, in large part because of catcher Josh Strane. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Strane.
