A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Albuquerque Dukes and Los Lunas Werewolves.

The Albuquerque Dukes topped the Los Lunas Werewolves, 6-1, in Border League action at Los Lunas Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Albuquerque pitcher Josh Kempf. Kempf, now 6-4, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 run.

The tension was thick in the bottom of the sixth inning. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Los Lunas trailing 4-1, Josh Kempf had to get a big out. On a 2-2 fastball, he retired Jeremy Killen, who struck out.

The 'W' lifts Albuquerque's record to 19-13.
