Castillo Holds Galanes Scoreless

Danny Castillo of the Piedras Negras Carboneros shut out the Ciudad Acuna Galanes 3-0 at Carboneros Ballpark today, holding them to 3 hits with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts.
Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Ciudad Acuna skipper Álvaro Trejo called the outing from Castillo "a jewel."
"The way Castillo was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said.
