Galanes Come Back Late to Top Colibris, 2-1
The Ciudad Acuna Galanes eked out a 2-1 win versus the Nuevo Laredo Colibris at Ciudad Acuna Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Justin Huber. He was terrific. Huber went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-4. The Galanes go to 10-17 with the win.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Ciudad Acuna right fielder Rubén Turcios, facing Simón León, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Galanes the 2-1 win.

"I hope this win gives us a jumpstart," said Huber.
