Toa Alta Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Martín Plascencia pitched well, but his team, the Sabana Grande Petateros, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Toa Alta Poetas at Parque de los Poetas. The winning pitcher was Bernal López. He's now 6-2. He went 9 innings, allowing 3 runs on 12 hits for the Poetas. With the loss, Sabana Grande is 11-13.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Petateros allowed the Poetas to score the winning run.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said López.
