Brown Finds Groove in 8-1 Triumph
Santa Fe had no answer for Los Lunas Werewolves starter Brandon Brown, who flummoxed Hollyhocks hitters as the Werewolves cruised to victory, 8-1. The Werewolves raised their record to 10-9.

Brown was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 5-1. In 9 innings of work, Brown gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 6. The Hollyhocks were never able to generate much offense.
