Colibris Trip Galanes, 4-3, in Extra Innings
The Nuevo Laredo Colibris topped the Ciudad Acuna Galanes, 4-3, in Liga Fronteriza action at Nuevo Laredo Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Nuevo Laredo pitcher and Monterrey, Mexico, native Diego Vicente. The win puts Nuevo Laredo at 9-8.

In the bottom of the 19th, Gabriel Montano had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring walk to center off Ciudad Acuna pitcher Jeff Kempton.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Montano, "and go after the next one."
