In a low-scoring clash between Nuevo Laredo and Ciudad Acuna, pitcher Gabriel Montano was a difference-maker. The left-hander earned accolades in the 2-1 win. With the loss, Ciudad Acuna drops to 9-7.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Montano hit a sinker from Hernán García for a run-scoring single. The Colibris, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
